"Grandma" Bohrer, relict of the late John Bohrer, a pioneer of Lafayette township, died at the home of her son Joseph in this city Wednesday last. She had been in feeble health for a long time and confined to the bed for about three weeks, still death was not expected so soon. The funeral took place Friday morning from the Catholic church and there was a large attendance of relatives and old home neighbors of deceased, thus testifying silently but eloquently to the esteem in which the venerable woman was held. Burial took place in Wexford cemetery beside her husband who preceded her to the grave about a year ago.
